There is no direct rail access to the greenway.

Can I access the route by bus?

“Yes, there are several bus routes that connect to Monaghan Town including: Bus Éireann Routes:

Route 32: Dublin to Letterkenny
Route 65: Galway – Athlone – Cavan – Monaghan
Route 182: Drogheda – Ardee – Monaghan
Getting Here – Monaghan Tourism

Ulsterbus Routes:

Route 70/70a: Armagh to Monaghan
Route 270: Belfast (Grand Central Station) to Monaghan (Goldline Express)
Route 271: Belfast to Cavan (passing through Monaghan)
