Carlingford Lough Greenway Update

Users of the Carlingford Lough Greenway are advised of a temporary closure to facilitate works at Narrow Water Bridge starting on Tuesday 26 May for 5 weeks.
Closure Area:
From approximately 650m northwest of the L7051 junction to 2.4km southeast of Victoria Lock
Dates:
From Tuesday 26 May 2026 for 5 weeks

Who is affected ?
This closure applies to pedestrians and cyclists at all times

Diversions in place
Traffic will be redirected via the Fathom Line, R179 Newry Road and L7051
Northbound: via L7051 – R179- Fathom Line – Victoria Lock
Southbound: via Fathom Line – R179 – L7051
Local and emergency access will be maintained.
